Have you ever wondered how you wake up the next day and then you discover that you're an inch or two inches taller?
Have you ever wondered how your breasts develop on its own or how you suddenly discover that your voice has deepend?
Have you ever wondered how the shoe that fitted your legs perfectly a week ago is now tight?
Everyone must have wondered about these at one point or the other.
You see, physical growth is unintentional; they happen without us knowing.
It's not by your making that your foot grew bigger neither is it by your making that your voice deepend after all there are other males without deep voices.
However, to grow in any other aspect, you have to be intentional about it.
You don't just grow intellectually, you work for it. You labour and labour well for it.
You don't just suddenly become intelligent or brilliant, you must have given time to studying.
You don't just don't see yourself growing morally, you're the one who's going to decide and determine your manners.
If you want to grow in whatever you're doing, you have to work hard to achieve that growth.
You want to succeed as a medical doctor, you do not just sit at home doing nothing. There are lots of things to do.
You do not like the level of your singing and you really do want to grow to another level, there's work to be done.
You do not like your present speed on the field and want to run faster, there are things to do to grow to that stage.
Infact, you want to grow from being a mere singer of other people's songs to being a song writer and composer, there are things to be done for that growth to come.
Growth has to be intentional. You have to decide that you really do want to grow. Make up your mind that you are ready to move forward.
You can never grow intellectually by magic. The same way you cannot just see yourself respecting your elders without deciding to is the same way you cannot just become a professional in what you do by magic.
Remember, the only growth that is unintentional is Physical growth. Growth is intentional.🙃💖
